Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega Liquid is a highly concentrated DHA and EPA supplement that contains over 70% pure omega-3. Research has shown that “Deficiencies of DHA may be responsible for abnormal signal transmission associated with learning disability, cognitive deficit, and visual dysfunction. These abnormalities in the signal transduction process can be partially corrected by supplementation with a diet enriched with DHA.”(1) Another study showed that DHA “significantly enhances visual acuity maturation and cognitive function. DHA is a conditionally essential nutrient for neurodevelopment in humans.”(2) Essential fatty acids may also “promote the adhesion of probiotics to mucosal surfaces which augments the health-promoting effects of probiotics.”(3)
Each teaspoon of Ultimate Omega Liquid contains 1460 mg of EPA, 1010 mg of DHA, and 370 mg of other omega-3s. Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega Liquid is molecularly distilled, and third party tested to document the absence of all environmental pollutants (no PCBs, dioxins, pesticides, or heavy metals). Ultimate Omega Liquid is manufactured according to stringent European Pharmacopoeia, Norwegian Medicinal, and GMP requirements.
Other ingredients: purified deep sea fish oil (from anchovies and sardines), natural lemon flavor, d-alpha tocopherol, rosemary extract (a natural preservative).
This product is Non-GMO.
This product contains no gluten, milk derivatives, or artificial colors or flavors.
Each bottle of Ultimate Omega Liquid contains 4 fluid ounces of natural lemon flavored oil (approximately 24 servings per container).
